Description Week 1 Kushla Spinks

 

This  week we have been doing Description writing. We had to describe this describe picture. It's not much. Here is my writing.

Laughter echoes coming from the volleyball court as I walk past. Seagulls howl at the top of their lungs. Waves curl onto the soft sand. Dogs bark at the water with excitement. Dads’ scream “ I caught a fish hey boy can you pass me the bucket of fish,” with no please.

As I walk along the glistening beach the sand burns my feet. The sunblock cools my skin from the sizzling hot sun.

 Kia ora everyone. Today we watch kiwikidsnews. We have be wach kiwikidsnews for a long time my teacher miss scott stared comment and asked if we could get a shout out. After a long time of commenting they give us a shout. Here is a photo if you don't want to watch the whole video.

Pacifica performance

 In assembly the Pacifica group did a performance in front of the hole school. I had one coconut because we were missing some. before did the dance we had to take of are shoes. T

In task master today we had a piece of paper and we had to rip it up into a object. My group did a love heart because that was easy to rip up. we got 3rd place.

My new lamb

Aloha everyone that's reading this. on saturday I got a lamb his name Conny. he is four weeks old and gets feed 2 times a day.

Playground

Last term we designed a senior playground for the year 4, 5 and 6. This term a man from Playco had a look at our designs.  When we designed it we researched options, surveyed what people wanted, made a plan, made a model and videoed our playground.
